Technology is very common in the education world and in our daily lives. I was on youtube and came across a video that shows how techonolgy is used in the classroom. Techology in the classroom can be in favor for the cildren to learn. Each child is different and they learn at different paces. Everyone uses technology and can learn the same topic or lesson many different ways.
In the video they talked about how each student are different and within the classroom they dont have to wait until a certain student is up to pace with another student but instead they can learn at their own level and still be on track with the class. There are students who can learn faster than other and others who can slower to by having individualized direction then students can be able to learn differently. In the video they mentioned that they don’t use technology to teach purely but rather they use the technology and what they find to make it a better experince within the classroom for the students.
The video featured the Iowa school which has a 21 century classroom which is a really nice idea. The reasons are the classroom has white boards on the surface of the table which students can write on and they have different station that present different techs. They has smart boards, computer and etc. By, having this classroom technology can be used the right way because many individual sees technology in classroom the same way from my pov. The classroom in a regular new york classroom are tables and a smart board but with the 21 century classroom technology is being used to suit the students learning needs and what they can do at their certain level.
By understanding the studnets level within the classroom the teachers can understand how they can use techonolgy of all sorts to help their students learn more. On the other hand, students are growing with the generation of media but teachers come in all ages and generation so having a class for teachers to learn about the technology of all sorts can benefit the students and the teachers educating their classroom.
